Terms of Use

01 Acceptance of these terms

These Terms are a binding agreement between you and Karizma Class, the institution operating the platform in Sulaymaniyah, Kurdistan Region, Iraq. They apply from the moment you register an account, and continue to apply for as long as that account exists.

02 Eligibility and your account

Karizma Class accounts are created for students enrolled at the institution, grades 10 through 12. Registration happens after in-person enrollment, using an email address, a phone number, and a password you choose; your phone number is verified with a one-time code before your account is created.

You're responsible for keeping your password and your account access to yourself. Don't share your login with another student or anyone else, including to let them watch a course you aren't enrolled in. Keep your registered details accurate; if your school or contact information changes, contact us so it can be corrected.

03 Devices and sessions

You can be signed in on up to two devices at a time. Signing in on a third device requires signing out of one of the other two first. This limit exists to keep one student's access from being shared across a group; working around it is a violation of these Terms (see "Acceptable use" below).

04 Enrollment and access

Karizma Class is an in-person institute. You enroll with the institute directly, and enrollment is arranged and paid for outside this app — nothing is sold or purchased through the app itself. The app exists so that students who are already enrolled can watch recordings of the classes they attend, and review them at home.

Access runs for a fixed term (currently one year) from the date a staff member activates it. If you believe access was granted incorrectly, or you have a question about your enrollment, contact the institute directly.

05 Acceptable use

• Don't share your account credentials, or let anyone else use your account.
• Don't attempt to download, screen-record, redistribute, or republish lecture video or other course content outside the app. Every lecture is watermarked with your own phone number specifically so this is traceable back to an account.
• Don't attempt to bypass the two-device session limit or otherwise circumvent access controls.
• Don't post comments that are abusive, harassing, hateful, sexually explicit, or otherwise inappropriate for a platform used mainly by high-school students.
• Don't impersonate another student, teacher, or staff member, or misrepresent your identity.
• Don't attempt to probe, scan, or interfere with the app's backend systems.

We may suspend or ban an account that violates any of the above; see "Suspension, bans, and termination" below.

06 Comments and user content

Lecture comments are meant for genuine questions and discussion about course material. Anything you post is visible to other students in that course and its teacher, and stays associated with your account unless and until it's removed. You can report another student's comment for review, and you can block another user to stop seeing their comments, both described in the Privacy Policy's "Comments and content moderation" section. Don't post anything you don't hold the rights to, or anything that violates someone else's privacy.

07 Course content and intellectual property

Lecture videos, course materials, quizzes, and question banks belong to Karizma Class and the teachers who created them. Your enrollment gives you a personal, non-transferable license to view that content for your own study, for as long as your access is active. It doesn't give you ownership over it, and it doesn't permit copying, recording, redistributing, or reselling it in any form. The Karizma Class name and logo are our own and may not be used without permission.

08 Suspension, bans, and termination

If a student violates these Terms, most often through inappropriate comments or attempting to circumvent access controls, an admin can suspend that account, temporarily or permanently, after reviewing a report. A ban immediately signs the account out of every active session and blocks sign-in again until the ban expires or is lifted. We keep an internal record of the reason for any ban or account action taken. If you believe an action was taken in error, contact us.

09 Account deletion

You can delete your own account at any time from Settings inside the app. Deleting your account permanently removes your comments and anonymizes your profile information (name, phone number, guardian's phone number); your enrollment and access history is retained for record-keeping, exactly as described in the Privacy Policy's "Data retention and account deletion" section; read that section for the full detail before deleting your account.

10 Disclaimers and limitation of liability

Karizma Class is provided on an "as available" basis. We work to keep lecture video, quizzes, and the rest of the app running reliably, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted access, and we're not responsible for outages caused by your device, your internet connection, or factors outside our control. Course content is provided to support your studies; it isn't a guarantee of any particular exam result or academic outcome. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Karizma Class is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.

11 Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Iraq and the Kurdistan Region, and any dispute arising from them will be handled accordingly. If you have a concern, we'd genuinely rather hear from you directly first; see "Contact us" below.

12 Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms as the app and our services change. We'll update the date at the top of this page whenever we do; continuing to use Karizma Class after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.
